To be honest I thought most of these issues with the 2.6.31 would have been ironed out with the next upgrade to VMware but this is definitely not the case as it seems we still have to use the previous 2.01 patch to get it up and running. You can get the patch from here

So I awoke this morning, on the 1st December ’09, to be quite suprised to receive an invite to the beta testing of the ‘Google Wave’ . A limited beta as you can only communicate with users with a user@googlewave.com address but we are given 8 additional invites to play around with. Also I noticed that there is an experimental Google Wave FireFox Add-On too, which is located in the FireFox Add-On section, and seems to be working just fine so far.

Setup is a little different than normal VLAN configurations as we cannot use the usual ‘vlan database’ commands. In this scenario I want to configure FastEthernet 0/1 as VLAN 70, FastEthernet 0/2 as VLAN 77 and then GigabitEthernet 0/1 as a Trunking port.
